PM honours winners of journalism excellence award

AMMAN — Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah, Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour on Thursday attended a ceremony to honour winners of the King Hussein Award for Excellence in Journalism for articles, news stories and media reports published in 2013.

The winners included Faten Obeidat from Al Rai, who won the award for best investigative report.

The award for best article went to Majed Tobeh from Al Ghad Arabic daily; Taghreed Risheq and Yousef Damra from the same newspaper won the awards for best news report and best interview respectively.

At the end of the ceremony, the premier presented tokens of appreciation to veteran journalists who have been working in the field for 25 years.
