PM expresses condolences over passing of former labour minister Shakhanbeh

AMMAN — Prime Minister Bisher Al Khasawneh on Saturday mourned the passing of former labour minister Abdulhafith Shakhanbeh, paying tribute to Shakhanbeh’s efforts in public service and expressing condolences to his family.

Shakhanbeh served as labour minister between 1996 and 1997. The late former minister was also a member of the Senate and Lower House, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. He also worked as a physician in the private sector.Senate President Faisal Fayez and Lower House Speaker Abdulkarim Dughmi

also extended condolences to the Shakhanbeh family, recalling his contributions to the nation.
