PM congratulates House speaker on re-election

AMMAN — Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour on Wednesday congratulated Atef Tarawneh on his re-election as Lower House speaker.

Ensour, accompanied by several ministers, met with Tarawneh and members of the House's permanent office and discussed the latest developments and views on public issues, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The premier stressed the government's readiness to cooperate with the House.
