AMMAN — Prime Minister Bisher Al Khasawneh on Wednesday decided appoint Ahmad Hanandeh, Nisreen Barakat, Haditha Khraisha, Maher Qaddoura and Rakan Fakhoury as members of the Board of Trustees of the Hussein Bin Abdullah II Award for Voluntary Service, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The award’s board of trustees is headed by the prime minister, according to the system approved by the Cabinet a few months ago.
The system also dictates appointing minister of youth as vice chairman of the board, and the executive director of the Crown Prince Foundation as a member.
The Al Hussein Bin Abdullah II Award for Voluntary Service was established at the Ministry of Youth.
The award seeks to honour outstanding volunteers and consolidate the culture of volunteering.
