AMMAN — King Hussein International Airport in Aqaba on Wednesday welcomed a Slovakian plane carrying 185 tourists coming from Bratislava.
Flying with the Hydro Tours firm, which is supported by the Jordan Tourism Board (JTB), the inaugural flight to Jordan is part of a weekly flight programme, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Director-general of JTB Abdul Razzaq Arabiyat said that the arrival of Slovak tourists would boost tourism, as 7,000 five-star hotel rooms are expected to be occupied during June and July.
