The rapid deployment force Mali 5, on Friday, left the Kingdom to participate in the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilisation Mission in Mali (MINUSMA), the Jordan News Agency, Petra reported. On Wednesday, the force attended a farewell party that was held at the Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF) Command, in the presence of RJAF Commander Brigadier General Mohammad Hiyasat and a number of senior officers.
The armed forces have participated in the peacekeeping mission in Mali since 2018 through providing services in Gao airport, northern Mali
