AMMAN — The Civil Status and Passports Department has announced that, upon directives by His Majesty King Abdullah to support the resilience of Jerusalemites, a Cabinet decision was issued to lower the renewal fee of temporary passports for residents of Jerusalem from JD200 to JD50.
The department said that the decision went into effect on Tuesday for transactions presented at accredited offices in the holy city or department centres in Amman, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The department also announced the upcoming launch of a new service to deliver documents to applicants' homes.
