AMMAN — Teams from the Public Sector Development Ministry recently carried out an unannounced visit to the Civil Status and Passports Department branch in Ain Al Basha, north Amman, to evaluate the quality of services offered to the public.
The specialists recorded several observations, including a lack of signs leading to the office and dirty premises.
The report, which was sent to The Jordan Times, also found that there was no box for submitting complaints and suggestions, and no easy access to the building for people with disabilities.
The report said employees at the office were cooperative with the public and answered their queries in a professional manner.
