Palestinian water sector trainees graduate from WAJ, JICA programme

AMMAN — As part of cooperation between the Water Authority of Jordan (WAJ) and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the first batch of trainees of the Palestinian water sector graduated on Thursday. A total of 18 trainees participated in the first programme which attracted personnel of various Palestinian municipalities and water institutions, according to a WAJ statement. Trainees received theoretical and practical training on the maintenance, installation, operation and designing of water pumps, and skills to reduce water loss and detect leaks.
