AMMAN — Director General of the Jordanian Department of Palestinian Affairs (DPA) Rafiq Kherfan on Sunday met Director of UNRWA Affairs in Jordan Marta Lorenzo over enhancing the work of community institutions in a number of the Kingdom's camps.
The two sides discussed several projects to be conducted by the agency in the camps, with talks also covering setting a roadmap to permanently appoint 7.5 per cent of daily wage workers, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Lorenzo lauded German Foreign Minister Analina Barbok's recent visit to Talbieh camp, noting that several visits to check on the camps are expected, including delegations from the Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the German Development Bank (KfW).
