Owais takes part in Transforming Education Summit

AMMAN — Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Wajih Owais participated in the Transforming Education Summit, which kicked off on Monday in response to the global educational crisis, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Jordan was elected as a member of the high-level steering committee for the fourth sustainable development goal.

In this regard, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres stressed that education is a cornerstone for building peaceful, prosperous and stable societies.
