Owais appointed president of Prince Hussein technical university

AMMAN — The Higher Education Council on Sunday appointed Wajih Owais as president of the Prince Hussein Bin Abdullah II Technical University for a four-year term, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The council also entrusted a committee with the task of choosing a president for the Balqa Applied University to replace Nabil Shawaqfeh, who expressed a desire not to continue in his position for another term.
