Operational drill kicks off at crisis management centre

AMMAN — An operational drill kicked off on Tuesday at the National Centre for Security and Crisis Management in conjunction with the 2022 Eager Lion drill implemented by the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF). The operational drill seeks to realise strategic coordination and partnership, enhance national crisis management capabilities, and increase the level of military and civil coordination during military operations, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The Jordan-hosted “Eager Lion” international military drill kicked off on Sunday with the participation of 22 countries, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Around 10,000 military personnel from Jordan, the US and several other countries are expected to participate in the Jordan-hosted “Eager Lion 2015” military drill, slated between May 5 and 19, according to the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF).
