One dead, three injured in two road accidents

AMMAN — The driver of a tipper truck died on Sunday after it overturned on the desert highway, according to sources at the media centre of the Civil Defence Department (CDD).

The sources said that Madaba CDD rescue personnel transferred the body to Nadim Public Hospital.

Meanwhile, three people sustained injuries after a pickup truck overturned on the Safawi-Rweished road in the east desert on Sunday.

Mafraq CDD personnel administered first aid to the injured before transferring them to Rweished Public Hospital.
