One dead, another injured in Irbid landslide

AMMAN — A landslide on Monday left one person dead and another injured in Hartha, a town in Irbid’s Bani Kinanah District, north of Amman, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The Civil Defence Department said that emergency response personnel pulled both victims out of the rubble. Necessary aid was provided for the injured, while the deceased was transferred to Al Yarmouk Governmental Hospital.
