AMMAN — An Omani delegation on Tuesday was briefed on Jordan’s experience in directing subsidies to low income beneficiaries.
Iyad Qudah, director general of the Income and Sales Tax Department, briefed the delegation on the criteria to identify families in need of government support, in addition to the procedures followed to apply for support.
Qudah noted that 900,000 families benefitted from direct-cash fuel compensations in 2014.
