Number of driving licence holders in Jordan stands at 2,472,286

AMMAN — The total number of driving licence holders reached 2,472,286 in June, according to the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Department, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Sunday.

The total number of licences issued during the first six months of 2017 reached 1,912,676.

An official website for the licensing department was launched in 2012, enabling users to inquire about their vehicles electronically, Petra added.
