Norwegian ambassador tweets appreciation for Jordan’s Sudan evacuation efforts

AMMAN — Norwegian Ambassador to Jordan Espen Lindbæck on Monday took to Twitter to express his appreciation for Jordan’s efforts to evacuate citizens from Sudan. In the first tweet, the Ambassador said: “The situation in Sudan remains very concerning. Grateful to [Jordan] for the outstanding assistance in evacuations, among them of Norwegian citizens. The [Norwegian] Armed Forces has contributed tirelessly with flights from Sudan to Amman, where the embassy has been receiving the arrivals.” Also on Monday, Lindbæck tweeted: “Norway highly appreciates the invaluable efforts of the Jordanian Government and Armed Forces in the evacuations from Sudan, including Norwegian citizens.”
