No electricity bills issued yet under new tariff — EMRC

AMMAN — The Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission (EMRC) on Thursday denied that any electricity bills were issued under the new tariff.

An EMRC statement said that the bills under the new electricity tariff system, which was implemented on April 1 of 2022, will not be issued before early next month.

The commission also urged citizens to register through the website to benefit from the subsidised electric tariff.
