AMMAN — The government has not announced a date for reopening airports from "green countries", nations deemed low-risk for the coronavirus, Minister of State for Media Affairs Amjad Adaileh said on Wednesday.
Speaking to the Jordan News Agency, Petra, Adaileh said that the government is "carefully" considering reopening airports with no more than 10 "green countries" next month. A decision will be announced soon, he added.
He also said that the decision could be changed depending on countries’ epidemiological situation.
The minister added that Jordanians and residents of low-risk states or those who stay in these countries for at least 14 days will be allowed entry into the Kingdom without quarantine, but with conditions that will be announced later, Petra said.
