New TRC chairman, board members sworn in

AMMAN — The new chairman and members of the Jordan Telecommunications Regulatory Commission’s board of commissioners took the oath of office before Prime Minister Bisher Al Khasawneh after a Cabinet approval was issued approving their appointment.

Bassam Sarhan was sworn in as chairman of the Jordan Telecommunications Regulatory Commission’s board of commissioners, Nayel Adwan as vice-chairman and Nouh Shayab as a member.

Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Ahmad Hanandeh attended the swearing-in ceremony, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
