New Irish, Swiss ambassadors present credentials

AMMAN — Foreign Ministry Acting Secretary General Hazem Khatib on Thursday received a copy of the credentials of Irish Ambassador to Amman Marianne Bolger as the accredited resident ambassador of Ireland to Jordan.

Khatib also received a copy of the credentials of Swiss Ambassador to Amman Emilija Georgieva as the accredited resident ambassador of Switzerland to Jordan, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

He met with the new ambassadors to wish them well in their missions and success in promoting bilateral relations between Jordan and their countries.
