NCI represents Jordan at global innovation symposium

AMMAN — The National Centre for Innovation (NCI) has represented Jordan at a global symposium on scientific and technological innovation and integration for developing countries, organised by the Centre for International Economic Cooperation in Fujian Province, China. 

The goal of the participation was to learn about innovations that can improve the national system, in line with the objectives of comprehensive and sustainable development, and to create partnerships to support scientific research activities, technological advancements and innovation, according to a NCI statement issued on Sunday. 

The symposium received significant interest due to its emphasis on promoting economic growth and prosperity through new infrastructure investments, 5G technology, smart cities and artificial intelligence. 

NCI Chairman Hussam Khasawneh mentioned that the event also focused on topics such as intellectual property, patents and the application of innovation in problem-solving.
