AMMAN — The National Centre for Human Rights (NCHR) on Wednesday called for speeding up endorsing the amended draft law on domestic violence, in light of the increase in murder cases involving women in Jordan.
The NCHR called for endorsing the draft law on child rights and enacting a law that protects senior citizens, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The centre attributed the increase in crimes to social disputes, mainly due to financial or personal reasons.
