AMMAN — The National Centre for Human Rights (NCHR) on Wednesday secured “A-status” accreditation from the Global Alliance of National Human Rights Institutions (GANHRI) for the third time in a row, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
NCHR Chair of the Board of Trustees Samar Hajj Hassan received the international accreditation certificate during her participation in the GANHRI meetings held in Geneva.
Re-accreditation of national institutions takes place every five years, in compliance with the Paris Principles governing the work of national human rights institutions.
