Nahno platform attracts 3,602 volunteers since lockdown

AMMAN — Nahno volunteer platform has registered a total of 3,602 volunteers since the beginning of the coronavirus lockdown in the Kingdom, Nahno Director Imran Hmoud said on Thursday.
Hmoud told the Jordan News Agency, Petra, that the platform increased its home activities online to encourage youth to stay home to preserve public safety.
He added that the platform was launched in partnership with the Naua organisation, UNICEF and the Crown Prince Foundation in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth, with the aim of encouraging volunteerism and youth participation in effecting positive change in their communities.
Hmoud said the platform currently has 34,172 volunteers who have participated in 63,659 volunteer opportunities and spent a total of 785,400 volunteer service hours.
