Mulki visits PSD, commends   personnel’s work

AMMAN — Prime Minister Hani Mulki on Thursday commended the efforts of the Public Security Department (PSD) personnel in protecting the citizens and their properties in a professional manner that matches their counterparts in the region and the world, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

During his visit to the PSD, the prime minister met with PSD Director Maj. Gen. Ahmad Sarhan Faqih, senior officers and Interior Minister Ghaleb Zu’bi.

Mulki stressed the government’s support to the department in keeping the country safe, highlighting the importance of enhancing national security and stability.

The premier also commended the preparations made by the department for the holy month of Ramadan and for the international conferences Jordan is scheduled to host in the coming period. Faqih said that the department continuously reviews and enhances its security strategy.
