MPs discuss 2016 Audit Bureau report, refer violations to authorities

AMMAN — The Lower House’s Finance Committee on Monday discussed violations cited in the 2016 Audit Bureau and recommended referring them to the specialised authorities.
According to panel president MP Mutaz Abu Rumman, the committee recommended referring 36 violations to the prosecutor general’s office for further legal processing, 57 violations to the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission, 116 to the respective authorities to retrieve public funds, and 247 other violations to the respective bodies to rectify outcomes, the statement by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, said.
