MP meets with Cypriot envoy to discuss parliamentary ties

AMMAN — President of the Jordanian-Cypriot Parliamentary Friendship Society MP Zaid Shawabkeh on Thursday met with Cypriot Ambassador to Jordan Andreas Kouzoupis to discuss relations between the two countries, and parliamentary ties.

Shawabkeh affirmed that the relations between Jordan and Cyprus are deep and strong, adding that the meeting contributed to exchanging views on issues of common interest.

Kouzoupis voiced his appreciation of the role of the Jordanian-Cypriot Parliamentary Friendship Society, pointing out that the meeting aimed at enhancing ties between Jordan and Cyprus.
