MP Eteiwi Majali laid to rest

AMMAN — MP Eteiwi Majali was laid to rest on Sunday in his hometown of Rabbah in Karak Governorate. Majali died Saturday of a terminal illness, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Following an MP’s death, the Lower House must inform the government and the Independent Election Commission in order to carry out a by-election to fill Majali's vacant seat, in accordance with Article 88 of the Constitution.
