AMMNA — Mövenpick Resort & Residences Aqaba and Mövenpick Resort & Spa Tala Bay Aqaba have been recognised with the prestigious General Manager Award presented by Hotelier Middle East magazine for their corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
The award was presented during a ceremony in Dubai honouring hospitality establishments that have demonstrated a strong commitment to sustainability and community engagement.
The recognition comes amid a growing global focus on sustainable tourism, with the hospitality sector placing increasing emphasis on environmental responsibility and community engagement, according to a provided statement.
Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts Public Relations Manager Layali Nashashibi said that the award reflects the group's commitment to sustainable development and its role in supporting local communities, particularly in southern Jordan.
