MoU signed to establish Jordanian-Kurdish business council

AMMAN — The Jordan Businessmen Association (JBA) on Sunday signed a memorandum of understanding with the Kurdistan Investors Union to establish a Jordanian-Kurdish business council, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The joint council aims to complete trade and investment agreements between business owners from the two countries and expand economic cooperation through visits and exchanging data.
Describing the council as a key step to bolster bilateral relations at various levels, JBA President Hamdi Tabbaa stressed that the council also aims to support Jordan’s national economy, enhance its investment environment and attract investments.
