Momani visits election commission, lauds its media campaigns

AMMAN — Minister of State for Media Affairs Mohammad Momani on Wednesday visited the Independent Election Commission (IEC) and met with its president, Khaled Kalaldeh, and its commissioners.

The minister commended the media awareness campaigns of the IEC that include announcements, videos and illustrations that seek to educate the public on the Elections Law and relevant regulations.

Kalaldeh said the commission is open to all public and private media outlets as partners to ensure the transparency and integrity of the September 20 polls.
