AMMAN — A Jordanian man, Hussam Khasawneh, who was reportedly missing while on holiday in Turkey has been found in Istanbul in good health, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Daifallah Fayez said on Thursday.
The Jordanian embassy in Ankara, in cooperation with the concerned Turkish authorities, has followed up on the issue, Fayez said.
He noted that the ministry was informed that Khasawneh is currently being hospitalised in Istanbul. A team from the embassy visited Khasawneh in hospital to check on his health, and informed his brother, who is in Turkey.
All the necessary arrangements will be made to secure his return to the Kingdom as soon as possible, the spokesperson added, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
