AMMAN — The Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation said on Monday it had signed an agreement worth JD61,200 with the National Alliance Against Hunger and Malnutrition (Najmah) to rehabilitate Roman water wells in poor areas.
Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Imad Fakhoury said the agreement aims to enhance nutrition and water security in the targeted areas.
The agreement is part of a project to enhance social and economic productivity to improve the lives of citizens living in poverty pockets. Project Director Mohammad Adaileh said it would improve the infrastructure that supports agricultural production.
