Ministry receives medical equipment worth JD1.8m from UAE

AMMAN — Sheikha Al Jalila Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum on Sunday presented medical equipment worth JD1.8 million as a gift to the Health Ministry, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The grant coincides with the 81st birth anniversary of His Majesty the late King Hussein. Health Minister Mahmoud Sheyyab thanked Sheikha Al Jalila and the United Arab Emirates for the donation, which will support the ministry in providing medical services.

The equipment will be installed at hospitals and healthcare centres over the next two months, according to Petra.
