Ministry following up on Jordanians involved in Indiana, Jeddah accidents

AMMAN — The Jordanian Embassy in Washington is following up on a traffic accident that led to the death of a Jordanian living in the state of Indiana, head of the Foreign Ministry’s operations centre Sufian Qudah said on Saturday.
In a Foreign Ministry statement, Qudah added that upon the family’s request, the embassy, in cooperation with the ministry’s operations centre, has begun taking measures to return the body to the Kingdom.
Meanwhile, the operations centre is also following up on an accident that claimed the life of a Jordanian truck driver near Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, noting that the ministry has begun the necessary procedures to bury the deceased there, based on his family’s wishes.
Jordan’s Embassy in Washington and its Consulate General in Jeddah are coordinating with the relevant authorities to investigate the circumstances of both accidents, Qudah said. He expressed his deepest sympathies to the families of the deceased.
