Ministerial committee discusses Institute of Public Administration

AMMAN — The Ministerial Steering Committee (MSC) on Tuesday met to oversee the preparation and implementation of strategies for the development of the Institute of Public Administration (IPA), under the chairmanship of Minister of ICT Majd Shweikeh, according to an MSC statement. The meeting was attended by Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Adel Tweisi, and USAID representatives, among others.

The committee listened to a presentation on the progress of the work to strengthen the capacity of the IPA, including the development of the institute’s services and training programmes, capacity building of its human resources and the development of its infrastructure and technology. Shweikeh stressed the government’s commitment to promote the IPA, and to support it through the development of skills and capabilities of its human cadres.
