Minister stresses support to Palestine in water sector

AMMAN — Minister of Water and Irrigation Munir Owais stressed the importance of joint cooperation and exchange of expertise with the Palestinian Water Authority (PWA), especially in the management of water and sanitation, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

During a meeting with Mazen Ghoneim, head of the PWA, Owais said that Jordan is currently reviewing ways to develop water cooperation to support Palestinians and enable them to improve their water and sanitation services.

Ghoneim expressed appreciation for Jordan’s support of the Palestinian Authority, stressing that the Kingdom’s experience in the field has proved its efficiency in water management and waste water treatment, among other aspects.
