AMMAN — Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, Yarub Qudah on Monday met with Iraq’s Ambassador to Jordan Omer Al Barzanji, to discuss enhancing economic cooperation, particularly in trade and the Joint Economic City project.
During the meeting held at the ministry, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to boosting bilateral trade, addressing barriers to the flow of goods, and implementing agreements from previous joint committee meetings, including the recent trade committee session in Baghdad last month.
Qudah emphasised ongoing cooperation between Jordan and Iraq to facilitate trade exchanges and accelerate the development of the Joint Economic City, highlighting the latest progress in the project’s implementation, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
