AMMAN — Mexican Ambassador to Jordan Roberto Hernandez said the Kingdom has a “distinguished touristic position” in the Middle East. In a press statement carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, on Sunday, he said Mexico’s National Polytechnic Institute (IPN) and various Jordanian universities agreed to advance scientific and technological programmes as well as exchange of students and professors.
Last Thursday, IPN director general, Arturo Reyes Sandoval, and the envoy held a meeting in Mexico City where they agreed to promote cultural and sports activities, joint projects on tourism development as well as teaching of Spanish and Arabic languages in Jordan and Mexico respectively, said the statement.
