Mexican ambassador announces plans to sign agreement for Jordan-Mexico direct flight

AMMAN — An agreement is scheduled to be signed to launch a direct airline route between Mexico and Jordan to help boost trade and tourism, Mexican Ambassador Roberto Rodriguez Hernandez said on Tuesday.
During a visit to the Middle East Media and Policy Studies Institute (MEMPSI), Hernandez expressed the embassy's readiness to open new channels of communication and cooperation with the MEMPSI in various fields, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The envoy praised MEMPSI's role in conducting research on many political and media issues in the Middle East, and its work in defending media freedom in the Arab world.
MEMPSI Chairman Muhammad Ajlouni stressed the institute's interest in cooperating with the Mexican media and associated research institutions.
