AMMAN — The Jordan Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission (JIACC) on Sunday signed a memorandum of understanding with the Jordan Transparency Centre (JTC), which aims to bolster cooperation between them in accordance with the UN Convention Against Corruption and other national anti-corruption frameworks.
The one-year agreement was signed by JIACC Chairman Muhannad Hijazi and JTC Executive Chairwoman Hilda Ajeilat, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Highlighting the need for media cooperation, the memo also stressed the importance of information exchange in a way that does not violate transparency laws. The JTC is a non-profit organisation and member of the Arab Anti-Corruption and Integrity Network, according to Petra.
