Medication delivery service from Jabal Luweibdeh, Abu Nseir health centres launched

AMMAN — The Ministry of Health on Sunday announced the launch of a delivery service for medications prescribed for patients with chronic illnesses at the Jabal Luweibdeh and the Abu Nseir comprehensive health centres, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The ministry called on patients wishing to benefit from this service to download “My Hakeem” mobile phone application, visit the Jabal Luweibdeh or the Abu Nseir health centre to activate the application and approve the monthly medication delivery service, according to a ministry statement.

The ministry said that it seeks, as part of its plan, to save patients time and effort from visiting health centres.

The ministry stressed that the delivery service is optional and will become available to all patients receiving medication from automated health centres in Amman, in the near future and within a specific time plan.

The service was first introduced at Al Bashir Hospital and Amman Comprehensive Health Centre by the ministry, in cooperation with the electronic health solutions, Hakeem and the Jordan Post.
