Medical seminar on endocrinology, diabetes and fertility held

AMMAN — PanMed Events on Sunday organised a medical seminar on endocrinology, diabetes and fertility in Amman with French endocrinologist Philippe Bouchard, according to a statement from the organisers.

Bouchard is a leading specialist in France and Europe in the field of endocrinology and genetics, according to the statement.  He is Professor Emeritus at University Pierre et Marie Curie Paris.

During his visit, Bouchard presented a seminar at the National Centre for Diabetes, Endocrinology and Genetics and another seminar to the Jordanian Association of Endocrinology and Gynecology, the statement said.

In an earlier statement,  the French Ambassador to Jordan, David Bertolotti, highlighted the importance of exchanging expertise between Jordan and France in the medical field and called upon French companies to take the initiative, stressing that Jordan represents an “important destination” for medical tourism.

Shermine Dajani, CEO of Panmed Events, stated that PanMed Events plans to organise regular medical seminars and conferences to present the latest scientific findings and treatment, in order to share them with doctors in Jordan.
