AMMAN — The Youth Ministry and Jordan Media Institute (JMI) have launched “Media Education” project, which entails implementing 22 training programmes in various governorates across the Kingdom, according to a JMI statement.
Launched in cooperation with the German Agency for International Cooperation and the EU, the project targets 440 female and male members of youth centres aged between 16 and 25 years old, who will be trained on various topics of communication, contemporary media, news literacy and digital literacy.
The project aims at raising awareness among the youth and improving their attitude towards media and communication tools, in addition to enhancing their ability to evaluate, analyse, and produce media content.
