Man gets 6 years in jail for drug dealing

AMMAN — The State Security Court (SSC) on Monday sentenced a man to six years of hard labour and pay a fine of JD4,000 after convicting him of drug dealing.
The sentence was issued during a hearing by a bench chaired by military judge Lt. Col. Amer Halasah. The bench also comprised judges Maj. Thamer Qutifan and Maj.Omar Botoush, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Under the Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law, the SSC is the competent legal authority that has jurisdiction over such cases
