Man dies of bullet to chest in Karak, investigations underway

AMMAN — A man died on Monday in Karak after he was shot in his chest, according to a source at the Public Security Directorate (PSD).

The source added that the Karakoperations room received a report that a man in his 30s was taken to Prince Ali bin Al Hussein Military Hospital in Karakbeing shot inside his house, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The PSD official said that the man succumbed to his wounds soon after the shooting, noting that an investigation on the incident hasbeen opened.
