Mamkegh urges participation in creativity awards

AMMAN — Culture Minister Lana Mamkegh on Tuesday urged Jordanians interested in the arts to take part in the ministry’s creativity awards project.

She said the awards are a national project to promote Jordanian cultural life.

Those who wish to take part should log into the ministry’s website www.culture.gov.jo and fill in an application form, Mamkegh said, adding that winners will receive awards amounting to JD100,000.

The project is in line with the ministry’s programmes to encourage creativity and innovation, said the minister, who heads the executive committee of the ministry’s creativity project.
