AMMAN — The Madrasati (“My school” in Arabic) initiative, one of Her Majesty Queen Rania’s initiatives, announced the names of the winners in the electronic schools twinning contest, with 220 participants from 54 schools across the Kingdom, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Monday.

The project linked Jordanian schools through an electronic twinning platform with 44 countries in cooperation with the Erasmus Plus Programme and the EU, with the aim of developing the educational system in Jordan.

The platform also enables Jordanian teachers to reach out to their international peers to exchange expertise and bridge cultural gaps. For her part, Madrasati Director Tala Sweis voiced her appreciation of the winners’ contributions and for the Ministry of Education’s cooperation.
